Latheefa Beebi Koya Appointed As New MACC Chief Commissioner

Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has consented to the request of Dato’ Sri Mohd. Shukri Abdull to shorten his term as Chief Commissioner of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) before his contract expires on 17th May 2020.

In this regard, the MACC conveys its deepest gratitude for the contributions and services rendered by Dato’ Sri Mohd. Shukri as the MACC Chief Commissioner.

During his tenure, Dato’ Sri Mohd Shukri has successfully led the MACC with excellence, including completing two high-profile cases of his highest priority.

The MACC will continue to provide support to the new Chief Commissioner, effective 1st June 2019.
