KANGAR, 18 Jan – The Perlis National Audit Department took the initiative to uphold the anti-corruption agenda by signing the Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) with Perlis MACC today.

The IBR ceremony was led by Mr. Abd Aziz Che Daud, Director of Perlis JAN and witnessed by PKPj Suzeliyana Hashim, Director of Perlis MACC. 38 attendees from among the Director and staff of the Department took the pledge. This initiative reflects the unity of the Perlis National Audit Department workforce in supporting the effort to fight corruption and abuse of power with MACC.

The Director of Perlis Audit Department made a decision to appoint a senior officer as a Relations Officer to assist Perlis MACC in channeling information regarding Audit Reports and exposure of government fund leakage during audit.
