MACC Has Made History Offers Suar Corps at UniSZA

Kuala Lumpur, 2 Dec. - The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has made history again in strengthening its anti-corruption agenda by offering the Anti-Corruption Student Volunteer (SUAR) Corps course at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA).

UniSZA became the first pioneering Higher Education Institute (IPT) in the country to offer a credited SUAR Corps course as a joint effort by the MACC and the IPT in providing a generation of quality graduates who reject corruption.

The MACC Chief Commissioner, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Haji Azam Baki said, this MoU is an expression of the commitment of both parties in an effort to strengthen  the future generation of national leadership with the principle of rejecting corruption as a way of life.

“I hope that the students who have registered for this course will be positive-minded, strong-willed and will continue the struggle until they successfully complete till semester four to be certified as a Certified Youth Integrity Officer.

“Walk with pride when you have graduated and hold the principle of rejecting corruption. Do not compromise on any criminal acts of corruption. Don’t sell your dignity just because you want to pursue the pleasures of an easy life, "he said.

He added that the offering of this course has completed the anti-corruption initiative at the IPT level which had previously been introduced by the Anti-Corruption Student Force (AMAR) club and the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Course (KIAR).
