MACC Johor Launches CPP

JOHOR BAHRU, 15 March – The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Johor Office launches the Cakera Padat Pencegahan (CPP) which contains anti-corruption messages for the purpose of distributing to the public.

The event was officiated by MACC Deputy Chief Commissioner (Prevention), Dato’ Sri Shamshun Baharin Mohd Jamil, at MACC Johor Office Complex, here.

In his keynote speech, he said, this CPP launch is a new initiative in spreading anti-corruption messages during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“I hope that the initiative by MACC Johor Office in spreading anti-corruption messages and educating the community during the Covid-19 pandemic have been successful in approaching the community as well as understanding the intended messages that was spread.

“CPP contains a brief explanation about the effects of not reporting corruption and a basic information regarding the Corporate Liability Provision Section 17A MACC Act 2009. A total of 100 compact disks were produced for the first phase distribution and it will be added from time to time based on demand," he said.

Meanwhile, a total of 40 media representatives from Kelab Media Johor were also celebrated and given recognition in the event.

Additionally, a 'kongsi rezeki' contribution event was also conducted and presented by Deputy Chairman I of MACC PUSPANITA, Datin Sri Nik Asmat to staffs of MACC Johor Office grade 19 and below.

Also attended the event were Deputy Chairman I of MACC PUSPANITA, Datin Sri Nik Asmat Nik Hussin; Director of MACC Johor Office, Dato’ Azmi Alias; Chairman of MACC Johor Office PUSPANITA, Datin Hajah Halidah Abdul Aziz and President of Kelab Media Johor, Mohamad Fauzi Hj Ishak.
