The Selangor Land and Minerals Department (PTGS) agrees to implement five recommendations for improvement suggested by MACC Inspection and Consultation Division (BPMP) concerning issuance of land ownership in Kampung Sungai Yu, Hujung Permatang, Kuala Selangor District.
PTGS Director Yusri Zakariah agreed with all the suggestions without any amendments and gave a commitment to implement all proposals in the Kuala Selangor District and Land Office (PDT)
MACC BPMP Director Nazli Rasyid Hj Sulong together with Yusri signed the Consultation Report as a sign of agreement to all suggestions proposed by MACC BPMP.
Prior to this, MACC BPMP Deputy Director III Zuridah Mamat presented the report at the PDT Kuala Selangor Office on 7 July 2020.
She said that MACC BPMP will conduct observations periodically to ensure that all proposals are implemented.
1. Establishing the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that states the appointment criteria of a committee member as well as its scope of duties as guidelines in executing the task of the committee member;
2. Membership of the Interviewing Committee and Objection Committee must consist of different individuals so that the decisions would be more transparent;
3. Land administrator must issue a letter of appointment to all committee members that were appointed and must clearly state each member’s function and scope of duty clearly in ensuring transparency;
5. Establishing an SOP as guidelines to implement a complete and systematic land ownership application process (collective application for government land). Every Selangor District and Land Office must adhere by these approval criteria in approving land ownership.
