SPRM PROPOSED RECOMMENDATIONS DURING ADVISORY SERVICE TO LEMBAGA TABUNG HAJI [ 07 Mar 2024 ]
On February 19, 2024, the Governance Investigation Division of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) had proposed recommendations, which the Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) had agreed to undertake necessary measures to address the issues that arose in their Internal Audit and Integrity Division.
Among the recommendations given is for the separation of the Internal Audit Division and the Integrity Division which have been merged under Internal Audit and Integrity Department. In addition, TH has also agreed to review their Whistleblower Policy.
The Chairman of TH, Tan Sri Abdul Rashid Hussain, stated that TH welcomes any suggestions for improvement from the MACC. Also present was the Deputy Director 1 of the Governance Investigation Division, Maznah Che Muda.
