The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today launches an election operations room for the public to channel information and complaints regarding corruption and abuse of power during the by-election for P186 Sandakan.

The 24-hour election operations room will be stationed at MACC Sandakan Branch, Level 7, Wisma Persekutuan Sandakan, KM 11, Jalan Labuk, Peti Surat 6000, 90715 Sandakan, Sabah. The public may also channel any complaints of corruption and abuse of power via email to prkp186@sprm.gov.my or call 089-668746 or 012-8426385 fax 089-669691.

Meanwhile, MACC also reminds all candidates and political parties contesting to not engage in activities that could violate election laws and regulations in accordance with the MACC Act 2009 and the Election Offences Act 1954 (Amended 2012).
