REGARDING claims on the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC’s) official Twitter account @SPRMMalaysia has been deactivated, the commission would like to clarify that the matter happened due to technical issues on Twitter's platform since yesterday.

The MACC has made a report on this matter to Twitter and it is in the process of being rectified and improved upon currently.

Therefore claims by certain parties which state that the commission had closed their official Twitter account is not true.

The MACC is grateful for the concern shown by people, and hopes that the public would not speculate anything further on this matter especially involving the image and integrity of this anti-graft body.
