KSN Officiated MACC Terengganu New Complex

THE Chief Secretary to the Government of Malaysia (KSN), YBhg. Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali officiated the new Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Terengganu Complex simultaneously with ACA/MACC’s 53rd Anniversary Celebration, today.

The construction of this RM38 million complex began at the end of October 2016 and was officially handed over on 15 July 2019.

The building, inspired by Terengganu architecture, is located at Bandar Baru Bukit Besar, Kuala Terengganu which is also the state administrative development centre.

The MACC Terengganu Complex was built on a 3.41-hectare land and is able to accommodate approximately 120 MACC officers and staff members.

This Complex consists of three blocks that are fully equipped with facilities such as a witness statement recording room, Video Interviewing Room (VIR), lock-up, Investigations Operations Room (BGOS), Seminar Hall, Warehouse for Seized Goods, Identity Parade Room and Surau. Besides that, this complex is also equipped with closed-circuit television cameras (CCTV) around its compound.

Also in attendance at the ceremony was the MACC Chief Commissioner, Datuk Seri Azam Baki; MACC Deputy Chief Commissioner (Prevention), Dato’ Sri Shamshun Baharin Mohd. Jamil; MACC Deputy Chief Commissioner (Operations), Dato’ Sri Ahmad Khusairi Yahaya; MACC Deputy Chief Commissioner (Management & Professionalism), Dato' Junipah Wandi; Director of MACC Terengganu, KPKPj Ruslan Che Amad and senior MACC officers.

All members of this commission would like to express our highest gratitude and thanks to Tan Sri Mohd Zuki for his attend to officiate this meaningful launching ceremony.
