Sand Royalty Issue : MACC Requests Involved Parties To come Foward To Assist Investigation
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) views the allegations by Sungai Udang State Assemblyman (ADUN), Datuk Seri Idris Haron seriously on the issue of the monopoly of economic projects and fraud against the Federal Government in relation to the sand royalty in Malacca.
Regarding the matter, those who have information or evidence of corruption and abuse of power in relation to the issue are advised to come forward to assist the MACC.
The MACC would like to affirm that failure to report any misconduct under the MACC Act is an offence which can be charged under Section 25 of the MACC Act 2009.
At the same time, the MACC will also send officers to hold a meeting with Datuk Seri Idris Haron to obtain further information on the issue.
