MACC Confirms Arrest Of Three Officers

THE Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) confirms the arrest of three officers of this commission to assist in an investigation involving the allegations of abuse of power and misappropriation in the case of a former head of department.

The MACC would like to affirm that this Commission will not compromise or protect any of its officers who are involved in any criminal acts and will take appropriate actions if it is proven to be true.

All three officers were arraigned at the Magistrate Court of Putrajaya and remanded under Section 117 of the Criminal Procedure Code for six days starting from 14 to 19 September 2021.

A thorough investigation is currently being conducted and the MACC advises all parties not to make any speculation involving this matter because it could affect the investigation.
