THE Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) accepts His Majesty Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj’s decree, expressing his appreciation to the MACC for carrying out its responsibility to investigate and to ensure corruption in Selangor can be eradicated.

His Majesty Tuanku Sultan’s decree reflects  the concern and firmness of His Majesty towards several Government Officials in Selangor who were allegedly involved in corruption which can affect the administrative image and good name of every Government Official in Selangor.

I welcome and respect  His Majesty Tuanku Sultan’s stand towards the MACC to conduct its duties with transparent investigations and solid evidence in order to  ensure those who commit corruption are detained and sentenced to appropriate punishments.

Therefore, the MACC also calls upon  the public including citizens of Selangor to pay special attention towards His Majesty Tuanku Sultan’s decree so that similar cases do not occur in future, thus making Malaysia corruption-free.
