Wafiy Abdul Aziz, 35, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) was charged at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court under Section 10(3)(b) of The Whistleblower Protection Act 2010 (Act 711) which provisioned a  maximum 15 years of imprisonment or fine or both, if pleaded guilty.

He is accused of causing an officer to be fired after providing information to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
