MELAKA, 23 April - The Melaka Housing Board in collaboration with MACC Melaka has organised the Melaka Housing Board Anti-Corruption Programme at Ames Hotel, Ayer Keroh, Melaka.

The programme began with an anti-corruption briefing session entitled "Reinforcement of the Department's Governance" delivered by KPKPs Mohd Sufian bin Mohd Khalid. The briefing session aims to provide exposure to offences enshrined in the MACC Act 2009.

The briefing also emphasis on issues related to procurement, malpractice, abuse of power, corruption as well as issues related to integrity and governance that are postulated in four main terms of reference, namely Institutional Reform, Policy and Law, Work System and Procedures, Monitoring and Evaluation and Culture of Value Practices and Good Governance.

The programme ended with a Corruption-Free Pledge session by all employees of the Melaka Housing Board witnessed by the MACC Melaka and Integrity Unit, Chief Minister's Department of Melaka.

The programme was also attended by YBhg Datuk TPr. Haji Murad bin Haji Husin, Executive Director, Melaka Housing Board.
