INDERA MAHKOTA, 26 March - Pahang Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) in collaboration with the MACC Pahang has organised an Integrity Empowerment Programme in Procurement and Enforcement Management and Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) ceremony in conjunction with JBPM Pahang Monthly Assembly. The programme was attended by 120 officers and staff members from Fire and Rescue Stations of each district at Dewan Sri Mahkota, JBPM Pahang.

The programme began with an anti-corruption talk with MACC Pahang officer, PPs Mohd Fairoz Izwan bin Abdullah from the Community Education Branch which focused on issues related to procurement in the department's financial procedures. The session also discussed on the loopholes in Application for Planning Approval and Building Inspection by the fire department that could lead to corruption if were not managed according to the rules.

The programme ended with the Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) Signing Ceremony led by PKPjB Dato' Ir. Ts. Dr. Haji Wan Mohammad Zaidi bin Wan Isa, Director of the Pahang Fire and Rescue Department and witnessed by KPKPj Hairuzam bin Mohmad Amin @ Hamim, Director of MACC Pahang.
