Pahang Islamic Religious Department (JAIP) Anti-Corruption And Integrity In Procurement Management Empowerment Programme 2024

PEKAN, 13 March  – MACC Pahang in collaboration with  Pahang Islamic Religious Department (JAIP) has organised Anti-Corruption And Integrity In Procurement Management Empowerment Programme. The programme was attended by 150 officers and staff members from JAIP, PAID, District Religious Officers and Principals of state religious secondary schools.

 

Held Dewan Ibnu Sina, Sekolah Menengah Agama Tengku Ampuan Fatimah, Pekan, Pahang, the programme were also attended by officers from Responsibility Centre (PTj) who are involved in managing and controlling financial resources subject to Treasury laws and regulations.

 

The programme began with a briefing session by KPKPs Mohamad bin Hussain of MACC Pahang Community Education Branch which focused on procurement issues in the department's financial procedures and on the issue of mosque fund management.

 

Subsequently, a sharing session on experience and knowledge in corruption issues were conducted by Mohd Firdaus bin Ramlan, a former Magistrate who also discussed on elements of awareness of the implications of corruption.

 

The programme also witnessed the Launching Session of the Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP) JAIP 2024-2028 with Pahang State Secretary's Office’s vision "Pahang Maju Bebas Rasuah", based on key areas - Administration, Human Resources, Procurement and Operations, and Finance.

 

The programme ended with Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) Signing Ceremony led by YH. Dato' Dr. Haji Zulkifle bin Haji Ali, Director of JAIP and witnessed by KPKPj Hairuzam bin Mohmad Amin @ Hamim, Director of MACC Pahang.
