MUIP Committed to Prevent Corruption Through Anti-Corruption in Procurement and Governance Empowerment Program

KUANTAN, Feb 22MACC Pahang together Pahang Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council's (MUIP) has organised anti-corruption empowerment program involving MUIP's Top Management and staff members at AC Hotel by Marriot Kuantan.  

 

Attended by 160 participants, the program began with a briefing on the main types of corruption offences presented delivered by Ps Maizatul Idzwie binti Mat Ali of Community Education Branch, MACC Pahang. The session also focused on the description of corruption offences in procurement involving governance in government agencies.  

 

The program ensued with Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) and signing ceremony led by YH. Dato' Ahmad Hairi bin Hussain, Chief Executive Officer of MUIP and witnessed by KPKPj Hairuzam bin Mohmad Amin @ Hamim, Director of MACC Pahang.  

 

The program concludes with the Launching Ceremony of the Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP) MUIP 2024-2028 which entails 5 strategies, 22 strategic objectives, 105 initiatives including 65 short-term initiatives and 40 long-term initiatives. All these plans will be implemented to address issues of integrity, governance and anti-corruption in organisation.
