MARANG, 17 Jan – Marang District Council (MDM) in collaboration with MACC Terengganu has organised the MDM Anti-Corruption Program 2024 at MDM Main Hall, Kg Paya, Marang, Terengganu. The program was attended by about 200 MDM staff members from the enforcement, procurement, legal, management and administration divisions.

The program began with a talk entitled "Uphold Integrity, Reject Corruption : Societal Roles in Preventing Corruption and Reporting Corruption" delivered by KPKPs Mohd Hanafi bin Abd Rahim, Head of MACC Terengganu Community Education Unit. The program ensued with Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) signing Ceremony by the new MDM Council Members as well as Heads of MDM Departments.

MDM Anti-Corruption Campaign was officiated by KPKPj Hazrul Shazreen bin Abd Yazid, Director of MACC Terengganu were to demonstrate the total rejection of corruption and the commitment of MDM and its to cooperate with MACC Terengganu in carrying out corruption prevention activities and strengthening the integrity of MDM staff.

Also present,  Zulkifly bin Isa, District Officer and Marang District Land Administrator, DSP Ts Mohd Razman bin Setapa, Marang District Police Chief, PKPj Sofian bin Haroon, Deputy Director (Prevention) of MACC Terengganu, Mohd Yusof bin Salleh, Secretary of Marang District Council, Council Members, officers and staff of MDM as well as officers from the MACC Terengganu Community Education Unit.
