PUTRAJAYA, 20 Dec – Prasarana Malaysia Berhad and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) are determined to continue their cooperation in strengthening integrity and corruption prevention efforts with the renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the third time.

The renewal of the MoU was signed by the MACC Chief Commissioner, Tan Sri Dato' Sri Haji Azam Baki with Prasarana Malaysia Berhad Group President and Chief Executive Officer, Mohd Azharuddin Mat Sah, witnessed by Prasarana Chairman Tan Sri Jamaludin Ibrahim at the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony between Prasarana Malaysia Berhad and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission at MACC Headquarters.

MACC and Prasarana signed a cooperation MoU for the first time in 2012, and in 2016 for the second time. Thus, this year's MoU is a continuation of the two previous MoUs that hoped to be a catalyst for improvement in the agenda of fighting corruption.

Tan Sri Dato' Sri Azam in his speech said, the MACC will always cooperate with Prasarana in helping the agency strengthen integrity through corruption prevention activities.

"MACC appreciates Prasarana's efforts in continuing this collaboration as we at MACC are focused on reducing the leakage of government funds."

Also present were Prasarana board member, Dato' Seri Haji Mustafar Ali, MACC Deputy Chief Commissioner (Prevention) Datuk Seri Norazlan Mohd Razali and Director of MACC Community Education Division (PenMas), TPj Nazli Rasyid Sulong.
