KUALA TERENGGANU, 19 Nov – MACC Terengganu has held Anti-Corruption Talk and Open Dialogue session with MACC State Director, together with Heads of State Departments in conjunction with National Integrity Month.

Held at Elysium Hall, Kuala Terengganu Drawbridge, the programme was attended by over 50 Heads of Terengganu State Departments including Dato' Nara Setia, State Financial Officer, Assoc. Prof. Dato' Mufti of Terengganu, Department Directors, Senior State Officers, State District Officers and PBT Mayors throughout Terengganu.

KPKPj Hazrul Shazreen bin Abd Yazid, Director of MACC Terengganu deliveredv"Good Governance of the Anti-Corruption Fortress Organisation" talk with focus on misappropriation of government funds, false claims and corruption offences that often occur in the organisation. He also reminded the heads of departments to always strengthen good governance and integrity leadership.

The session received good feedback from participants with various questions related to corruption issues in the administration of the organisation. At the end of the program, KPKPj also took the opportunity to promote the tax deduction initiative for the implementation of anti-corruption programmes to the heads of departments, and to empower agencies under the State Government to intensify corruption prevention activities in their respective departments.
