AGC Signs Corruption-Free Pledge, Vows To Combat Corruption With MACC

PUTRAJAYA, 16 Nov – Over 300 staff members of Attorney General's Chambers (AGC) have has taken Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) as a sign of its commitment to fight corruption together with Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

 

The IBR was led by the Head of the Serious Crimes Unit, Prosecution Division, Attorney General's Chambers, Mr. Khairul Azreem Mamat along with the Attorney General, Datuk Ahmad Terrirudin Mohd Salleh and witnessed by MACC Deputy Chief Commissioner (Operations) Dato' Sri Ahmad Khusairi Yahaya together with AGC staff members in AGC.

 

Attorney-General Datuk Ahmad Terrirudin Mohd Salleh said the IBR Pledge and Signing Ceremony is a reflection of AGC’s commitment to serve the people with vigilance, integrity, and professionalism, based on the principles of good governance in the fight against corruption and abuse of power.

 

Several sharing sessions from MACC, Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), Credit Counseling and Management Agency (AKPK) were also held as this event, as well as exhibitions from MACC, SKMM, AKPK, National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) and Malaysian Institute of Integrity (IIM).

 

Also present, the Solicitor General, Datuk Almalena Sharmila Johan; Solicitor General II, Dato' Suzana Atan; MACC Senior Director of Investigations, Datuk Seri Hishamuddin Hashim; Senior Director of MACC Special Operations Division (BOK), Dato' Tan Kang Sai; Senior Director of MACC Legal and Prosecution Division, Datuk Wan Shahruddin Wan Ladin and Director of MACC Community Education Division (PenMas); TPj Nazli Rasyid Sulong.
