MoH Signs Corruption-Free Pledge, Committed To Combat Corruption

PUTRAJAYA, 15 Nov – Ministry of Health (MoH) has launched its Integrity Day and Corruption Free Pledge (IBR) as a statement of compliance and commitment to prevent corruption and fostering a culture of legal compliance.

 

 

Its Minister, YB Dr Zaliha Mustafa said, public health is fundamental to stable, cohesive societies therefore MoH through IBR has made the pledge to fight corruption in healthcare sector to respond effectively to current and future global health threats and to provide quality healthcare for everyone. This pledge is also to preserve people’s trust and mandate to MoH.

 

 

The IBR pledge was led by Secretary General of MOH, Dato' Seri Ir Dr Zaini Ujang along with 300 staff members present at MoH Multipurpose Hall, and online nationwide. The pledge was witnessed by MACC Deputy Chief Commissioner (Operations), Dato' Sri Ahmad Khusairi Yahaya.

 

 

Also present, YB Dato Lukanisman Awang Sauni, Deputy Minister of Health; Director General of Health, Datuk Dr Muhammad Radzi Abu Hassan and Director of MACC Community Education Division, TPj Nazli Rasyid Sulong.
