Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) and Signing with Kuantan City Council (MBK), in conjunction with National Integrity Month 2023

KUANTAN, 7 Nov - In conjunction with National Integrity Month 2023, Kuantan City Council (MBK) has organised an Anti-Corruption Programme and a Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) and Signing ceremony  at MBK Level in collaboration with the Pahang State MACC. The programme was held at the Main Hall, Kuantan City Complex involving 500 officers and staff.

 

 

Themed “Integriti Citra Malaysia Madani”, the programme begins corruption prevention briefing delivered by KPKPs Mohamad bin Hussain from PenMas Divison, MACC Pahang. KPKPs Mohamad explained the role of civil servants stamping out corruption and to report to the MACC on offers that may lead to bribery.

 

 

The briefing also discussed on impacts of corruption that could undermine national security and the social ladder, directly or indirectly, due to corruption's economic and political repercussions. The programme ensued with welcoming speech from YH. Dato' Razihan bin Adzharuddin, Mayor of MBK and opening speech from YB. Dato' Haji Mohammad Fakhruddin bin Mohd Ariff, EXCO of Public Works, Transport and Health, Pahang.

 

 

The IBR was led by Inspector Mohd Rubby bin Ismail, Enforcement and Security Division of MBK. Meanwhile, the IBR was signed by the Mayor of MBK and witnessed by KPKPj Hairuzam bin Mohmad Amin@Hamim, Director of MACC Pahang.
