Ministry of Communications and Digital (KKD) Integrity Day Celebration 2023

PUTRAJAYA, 7 Nov – Organisations need to create an enduring culture of integrity that establishes doing the right thing as the cultural norm as a whole to remove loopholes and stop the disease of corruption from spreading.

 

 

The message was delivered by the MACC Chief Commissioner, Tan Sri Dato' Sri Haji Azam Baki during his speech at the Ministry of Communications and Digital (KKD) Integrity Day Celebration 2023, officiated by its Minister, YB Fahmi Fadzil at KKD Auditorium.

 

 

Tan Sri Dato' Sri Azam said, in order to avoid the leakage of funds that’s affecting the nation, strengthening integrity should be an important focus in every organisation, and by reducing fund leakages, it can also aid the country to save costs and increase national income.

 

 

Tan Sri Dato' Sri Azam also praised and expressed appreciation for KKD's efforts in cultivating integrity through programmes organised by KKD, in conjunction with the KKD Integrity Day Celebration 2023.

 

 

Meanwhile, YB Fahmi in his opening speech also expressed his support and appreciation for MACC's noble efforts in eradicating the symptoms of corruption.

 

 

"KKD will always support all the necessary efforts and cooperation with MACC in delivering and channelling anti-corruption message and recognises this hard effort, and should be carried out jointly as it is a trust that needs to be uphold with full responsibility," he said.

 

 

Earlier at this event, YB Fahmi signed the Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) and led the IBR pledge which was also attended by 300 KKD staff members, witnessed by MACC Chief Commissioner.

 

 

Also present, were the Secretary General of the Ministry of Communications and Digital (KKD), Datuk Mohamad Fauzi Md Isa and MACC Director of Community Education Division, TPj Nazli Rasyid Sulong.
