KUCHING, 26 Sept – MACC Sarawak has held an Anti-Corruption and Integrity Enhancement Programme together with FELCRA Sarawak, as part of continuous effort to fight corruption in FELCRA operating sector.

Held at Main Meeting Room, MACC Sarawak Office Complex, the programme participated by 38 FELCRA managers, regional managers and unit heads from all over Sarawak. The participants also had a guided tour around the office facility, before being briefed about major offences under the MACC Act 2009, specifically on procurement and financial. Subsequently, participants were also briefed about offence of Corporate Liability, Section 17A of the ASPRM.

The briefing was conducted by PKPj Wan Ahmad Nidzam bin Wan Omar, Deputy Director (Prevention) of MACC Sarawak.

The programme ensued with a dialogue session with YBhg. Datuk Mohd Zaki bin Hassan, Director of MACC Sarawak. The session was fruitful with numerous response and inquiries related to corruption, abuse of power and malpractice from the floor.

General Manager of FELCRA Sarawak YBrs Encik Mohd Zaiful Anuar bin Zulkifli delivered a closing speech, marking the end of the programme. Mohd Saiful expressed his appreciation to MACC Sarawak and pledge to provide full support to MACC in anti-corruption efforts to ensure that FELCRA Sarawak is able to strengthen governance and excellent procurement.
