KUALA NERUS, 26 Sept – MACC Terengganu together with Terengganu State Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) has organised Governance, Integrity and Anti-Corruption Forum (BiGIAR) 2023 for Eastern Zone

Held at the Perak Jubilee Hall, Bandar Al-Wathiqu Billah Administrative Complex, Kuala Nerus, Terengganu, the forum was attended by 500 officers and staff members of Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department from Terengganu, Kelantan and Pahang, including representatives from government and private agencies.

Moderated by Tuan Haji Hassan 'As'ari bin Haji Omar, Director of JBPM Terengganu,  panellists for the forum were KPKPj Hazrul Shazreen bin Abd Yazid, Director of MACC Terengganu, Mr. Sabri bin Mohamed, President of the Association of Certified Integrity Officers (ACeIO) and Encik Juhari bin Abdul Kadir, Head of Integrity Unit of Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT). The forum was fruitful with numerous response and inquiries related to corruption, abuse of power and malpractice from the floor.

The BiGIAR Forum was officiated by TPjB Dato' Ts. Ahmad Izram bin Osman, Director of Fire and Rescue Operations Division, Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia.
