PPPR Panel Propose To Expand Social Media Content To Engage With Youth

KUALA TERENGGANU, Sept 20 – The Consultative and Anti-Corruption Panel (PPPR) recommends that the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) increase content on social media platforms such as 'TikTok' to engage and collect feedback from youth on anti-corruption

 

 

The intention was expressed in PPPR Meeting No. 2 Year 2023 chaired by PPPR Chairman Tan Sri Borhan Dolah at MACC Terengganu.

 

 

The meeting also recommended that a survey be conducted on officers and staff in Ministry/Department/Agency on the impact and effectiveness of the roles played by the respective Integrity Unit.

 

 

A briefing on the Whistleblower Protection Act 2010 were also proposed to be given to officers in the Integrity Unit (not MACC officers) in an effort to encourage the staff of their respective Ministries/Departments/Agencies to come forward and report through the complaint channels provided.

 

 

The meeting was also attended by PPPR Members, Datin Yasmin Tan Sri Ahmad Merican and Haji Ali Hassan Mohd Hassan; MACC Deputy Chief Commissioner (Prevention) Datuk Seri TKPj Norazlan Mohd Razali who is also an ex-officio PPPR; Director of the Prevention Sector Division and Director of MACC Terengganu.
