MACC appreciate efforts of Papar ILTP trainers in conducting KIAR TVET

PAPAR, 13 Sept - The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has expressed its appreciation to the trainers of the Sabah State Department of Human Resource Development (FDPM) for their efforts in implementing the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Course (KIAR) Technical, and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) at the Institute of Technical and Trade Training (ILTP) here today.

 

 

MACC Deputy Chief Commissioner (Prevention) Datuk Seri Norazlan Mohd Razali in his working visit and monitoring at the ILTP Papar Campus said KIAR FDPM Sabah is the first program in efforts to spread the anti-corruption message to TVET stream students since its inception on 9 July 2021.

 

 

“It is also a benchmark for similar efforts involving other TVET institutions under the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), Ministry of Human Resources (KSM) and Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW),"

 

 

"I appreciate the efforts of FDPM and all ILTP Papar trainers for being committed to teaching KIAR. The feedback from trainers and students has been very positive. MACC also takes note of the proposal to improve the modules and teaching methods so that the subjects shared can add value not only for academic purposes, but also as a jump start of a career or a business in future," he added while chairing the KIAR Course Monitoring Meeting with Sabah State FDPM Director, Dg. Norsiah Hj. Pg. Duraman.

 

 

Datuk Norazlan also stated that the task of fighting corruption is not only rests on MACC but all parties must take responsibility to combat it. If these efforts are intensified and done together, corruption cases can be decrease and Malaysia will be free from corruption.

 

 

Datuk Seri Norazlan were also taken to the ongoing KIAR class and had the opportunity to convey words of encouragement and vision of KIAR to 50 students, and how they can contribute in the fight against corruption.

 

 

Also participating in the visit were the Deputy Director (Prevention) of MACC Sabah, PKPj Alexander S.Kunghi and Head of Education Branch, MACC Community Education Division, PKPj Mohd Nur Lokman Samingan.
