KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 24 – Shell Malaysia for first time partnered with MACC, in conjunction with the Shell Malaysia Business Integrity Day (SMBID) 2023 Program. The programme is part of Shell Malaysia's ongoing efforts to ensure that businesses are conducted in a corruption-free environment and supporting good governance.

With the participation of 1,350 employees of Shell Malaysia online and physically, the programme was also attended by Shell Malaysia's Finance Director, Hilmi Yusof, Shell Malaysia's Head of Legislation, Rodziah Zainudin and Head of Private Branch, Community Education Division, PKPj Mohd Hasraff Hashim.

The program began with a dialogue session by TPj Saiful Ezral Arifin, Deputy Director, Special Operations Division and KPKPj Mohamad Faizal Sadri, Deputy Director, Anti-Money Laundering Division.

The topics shared were corruption offences under the MACC Act 2009 and Money Laundering Offences, as well as corruption issues in the gas and oil industry with emphasis on corruption offences in procurement.
