KUANTAN, 24 July – The Pahang Syariah Prosecution Department in collaboration with the MACC Pahang has held an Anti-Corruption Awareness Seminar at Dewan Seri Lela Wangsa, Hotel Shahzan, Kuantan.

The program was held in conjunction with MACC Special Talk Session and Corruption-Free Pledge Ceremony with MACC. Attended by 35 participants including prosecution officers and staff member, the programme started with a talk entitled Whistleblower Protection Act delivered by Ps Mohd Hazni Bin Mohd Rathi from the Whistleblower Protection Branch, MACC Headquarters on the role of whistleblowers including methods of protection to whistleblowers.

Next, an anti-corruption talk was delivered by KPKPs Mohamad bin Hussain, Community Education Unit, Pahang State MACC explained corruption offences under the provisions of the MACC Act 2009 as well as the obligation to report corruption.

The program continued with the IBR and signing ceremony led by Tuan Haji Salehuddin bin Abdul Manaf, Chief Syariah Prosecutor of the Pahang State Syariah Prosecution Department witnessed PPj Shazleen binti Md Noh, Deputy Director (Prevention) of MACC Pahang.
