IBR: Kumpulan Perbadanan Kemajuan Iktisad Negeri Kelantan (PKINK) committed to combat corruption

KOTA BHARU , 23 July – Perbadanan Kemajuan Iktisad Negeri Kelantan (PKINK) supported the call for anti-corruption efforts by MACC Kelantan with Corruption-Free Pledge Ceremony (IBR) and Anti-Corruption Talk at PKINK Hall, Kota Bharu.

 

Attended by 140 PKINK staff member, the ceremony began with a talk entitled "Corruption Offences under the MACC Act 2009 and Corporate Liability, Section 17A" delivered by PKPs Jefrimazuan bin Hasnan, Community Education Unit Officer, MACC Kelantan.

 

The ceremony continued with opening speech by Tuan Haji Ab Aziz bin Yunus, Group Chief Executive Officer of PKINK. In his speech, he stressed that IBR embodies PKINK’s pursuit to drive the agency and its staff member, to abhor and free from corruption. The IBR pledge is also a declaration that PKINK is an agency that operates with excellent governance and integrity in discharging all its responsibilities.

 

KPKPj Rosli bin Husain, Director of MACC Kelantan in his speech stated that this is a very positive sign as it shows the commitment, awareness and commitment of PKINK staff member and Kelantan citizen as whole to ensure the state is clean and free from corruption. It is hoped that this IBR program is not merely "one-off" or only cosmetic. It should be followed up and empowered with various actions by the top management of PKINK to enhance the integrity of PKINK staff.

 

PKINK staff member has taken Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) and signed the Declaration as a manifestation of corrupt activities avoidance. In addition, MACC is committed and consistently will assist PKINK efforts to enhance integrity in abhorring corruption.

 

Also present at ceremony, Encik Hishamuddin bin Hussien, Deputy Group Chief Executive of Corporate Affairs (HEK), Senior Group Managers, Group Managers, General Managers of PKINK Group Subsidiary Companies.
