Collaborative Program of Public Agencies and NGOs in Corruption Prevention and Dialogue Session “Cegah Rasuah, Rezeki Barokah”

KOTA BHARU, 16 July – Public Agencies and NGOs of Anti-Corruption has collaborated in a dialogue session “Cegah Rasuah, Rezeki Barokah”, held at Ismail Petra Mosque. Led by Ismail Petra Mosque Committee, the session was jointly organised by MACC Kelantan, Information Department (JaPen), J.M Proton Otomobil (Innovative) Sdn.Bhd, along with Ministry of Education Malaysia, National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK), Malaysia International Halal Academy (MIHA), Red Land Colonial Youth Council, Kelantan State Sustainable Serumpun Organisation and Felda Youth Council.

 

Attended by 250 participants, the program aimed to foster awareness among the citizens of Tanah Merah, including Public Agencies and NGOs as well as entrepreneurs related to corruption offences under the MACC Act 2009 and collective responsibilities of corruption prevention.

 

Ps Wan Siti Junaida binti Ismail, Head of Community Education Unit, Kelantan State MACC delivered a talk on Anti-Corruption Joint Responsibility "Rasuah Dihina Maruah Dibina”, with focus on offences under the MACC Act 2009 and corruption in procurement involving government funds.

 

The program continued with the dialogue session "Prevent Corruption, Rezeki Barokah". Panelled by KPKPj Rosli bin Husain, Director of MACC Kelantan and Al-Fadhil Ustaz Haji Suratemi bin Mat Yusof, Religious Officer of Bachok  moderated by Encik Mohd Sanusi bin Ariffin, of JaPen.  The programme was officiated by Encik Muhammad Hilmi bin Daud, Assistant Chief of the Tanah Merah District, Kelantan.
