ELMU & CIDBH Visits MACC To Elevate Anti-Corruption Literacy

PUTRAJAYA, 14 July - CIDB HOLDINGS SDN BHD (CIDBH) together with Enforcement Leadership and Management University (ELMU) has organised an anti-corruption awareness program with the Private Branch, Community Education Division (PENMAS) of MACC, at the MACC Auditorium.

 

ELMU is a training provider to CIDB Holdings Sdn Bhd and is also a strategic partner of MACC and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Academy (MACA). The ELMU Group together with ELMU collaborated with PENMAS to ensure that program participants are given clear exposure on corruption crimes as well as understanding the MACC's strategy in combating corruption, especially from the regulatory aspects of the construction industry.

 

Dr Kasim Nor Mohamed, Chief Executive Officer and Vice-Chancellor of ELMU expressed appreciation for the engagement session where such programmes is catalyst to strengthen cooperation between the two parties in the long run, to further spread the anti-corruption message within the organisation in the future.

 

PsK Mohd Ridzuan Bin Bahrin gave an explanation on how corruption can occur in an organization and all participants are warned to avoid being caught up in corruption and abuse of power. A total of 40 officers and staff of CIDBH and ELMU were also taken to visit MACC facilities such as MACC.fm, Sky Bridge and parade field at level 7.

 

Also present at the engagement was Tan Sri Dato' Sri Haji Azam bin Baki, the Chief Commissioner of MACC who also gave a briefing to the attending members
