MRC, MACC SIGN CORRUPTION-FREE PLEDGE

KUALA LUMPUR, 26 June - The Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) has signed the Declaration of Corruption-Free Pledge with Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC). The ceremony marked a milestone in the organisation commitment to fostering awareness and adherence to anti-corruption practices as it took a significant step towards promoting better governance and integrity culture within its organisation.

 

The pledge was formally signed by MRC Secretary-General, Haji Hakim Hamzah, in the presence of MACC Community Education Division Director, Datuk Razim Mohd Noor. The pledge further demonstrates MRC's initiative to uphold high integrity, governance, and transparency in the organisation.

 

Prior, a sharing session on corruption offences under the MACC Act 2009 and issues of leakage of public funds has been delivered by PKPj Samsul Salip, Head of PenMas Government Branch to the attending members.
