CHERAS, 31 May - HSS Engineers Berhad together with the MACC’s Community Education Division are partnering in the fight against corruption through anti-corruption activities and initiatives.

In line with this commitment, an Anti-corruption Program was implemented at the Eiffel Room, HSS Engineers Berhad to educate and give awareness to the top management and employees of HSS about the importance of an anti-corruption culture in governance.

HSS's commitment strengthened with Corruption Free Pledge (IBR) led by Tan Sri Ir. Kuna Sittampalam, Vice Chairman Executive and Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Group, together with 170 participants from top management and staff members who were present and engaged online.

Tan Sri Ir. Kuna in his speech said, IBR needs to be implemented with full determination to avoid and abhor corruption, and ensure that the company are free from any corruption misconduct.

The pledge was witnessed by Deputy Director of MACC Community Education Division (Outreach), KPKPj Ab Muneim Ibrahim. Also present, MACC Head Of Private Sector, Community Education Division, PKPj Hasraff bin Hashim.

Prior, an anti-corruption briefing on offences under Malaysian Anti-Corruption Act 2009 and corporate liability for commercial organizations under Section 17A was delivered by Mr. Jayantha Kumar.
