MACC Organizes Corruption-Free Enforcement Program for JPJ Counter Officers

PUTRAJAYA, 29 May - MACC together with the Integrity Division of the Road Transport Department (JPJ) has organized JPJ Corruption-Free Enforcement Program 2023, with focus on counter services  

 

Held at Multipurpose Hall, MACC Putrajaya, a total of 80 officers and members from JPJ headquarters, state and branch, participated in this program to further expose and understand the risk of corruption that can occur while carrying out their duties. The participants were selected based on review of previous cases and risks of loopholes  that could lead to corruption when dealing with customers who are suspected in such offences

 

The program kicked off with interactive session on identifying risks, followed by lectures on corruption offences, and sharing sessions from ex-offenders to give awareness about the effects of corruption on oneself and family.

 

The program ended with Corruption Free Pledge and signing ceremony witnessed by MACC Deputy Director of PenMas (Outreach), KPKPj Ab. Muniem Ibrahim. Also present, JPJ Integrity Director, KPKPj Hasbilah Mohamad Salleh.
