KUALA TERENGGANU, 24 May - Anti-Corruption Heroes (WAR) Program has been held Sekolah Kebangsaan Pulau Redang from 22 to 24 May. A collaboration between MACC Terengganu, Community Education Division MACC Putrrajaya, Terengganu Education Department, Terengganu Incorporated (TI) and Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), this program was one of Anti-Corruption Education Module for Primary School, for students from standard 1 to 6.

In effort to empower integrity and anti-corruption awareness from earlier stage, WAR are being executed in tandem with initiative 2.4.6 National Anti-Corruption Plan 2019-2023 to strengthen education at the primary and secondary levels, shaping of charismatics, identity and leadership. WAR also in tandem with Thrust 3, Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013 – 2025; to produce generations of value. It is hoped that program such as WAR could be of success to this shift that appreciates the value of integrity and stamping out corruption altogether.

This program was officiated by YBhg. Datuk Seri Norazlan bin Mohd Razali, MACC Deputy Commissioner of Prevention Sector and attended by Tuan Haji Muie bin Ngah, Director of Terengganu Education Department, Burhanuddin Hilmi bin Mohamed @ Harun, KPKPj Hazrul Shazreen bin Abd Yazid, Terengganu MACC Director and Sabri bin Mansor, Terengganu RTM Director.

WAR will be the first program that will receive a tax deduction initiative under Subsection 34(6)(h) of the Income Tax Act 1967 and will also be used as a benchmark program.
