Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) Corruption Free Pledge (IBR) and Signing Ceremony

KUALA TERENGGANU, May 17 – Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) is stepping up its ‘zero-tolerance’ stance against bribery and corruption via the signing of a ‘Corruption Free Pledge’ (IBR), or Ikrar Bebas Rasuah ceremony at Main Hall, TNB Quarters, Terengganu.

 

Witnessed by KPKPj Hazrul Shazreen bin Abd Yazid, Terrengganu MACC Director, a total of 150 TNB staff member has joined the pledge, with the signing of IBR by Tuan Haji Ir. Mohamad Mohyddin Bin Mohamed Nor, Terengganu TNB General Manager

 

Earlier, a lecture session titled "Corruption, Misappropriation and Abuse of Power, as well as offenses under section 17A, ASPRM 2009" was delivered by KPKPs Mohd Hanafi bin Abd Rahim, Head of MACC Community Education  to the staff member of TNB  who were present. The lecture session was aimed to provide awareness pertaining to corruption offences, embezzlement and misuse of power especially in the procurement sector and also the improvement of integrity in the organization.

 

Also present, Mr. P. Kalivann Palanivelu, Chief Integrity Development Officer, Tenaga Nasional Berhad, PKPj Sofian bin Haroon, Deputy Director (Prevention) of Terengganu MACC, Mr. Rasidi Bin Yamin, General Manager (Kenyir Power Station) Generation Division, and officers of MACC Penmas Division Terengganu.
