MACC proclaimed commitment to help DBP fight corruption in procurement

KUALA LUMPUR, May 15 - The MACC expressed commitment to assist in Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP) efforts  to organise a series of anti-corruption programmes for its officers and staff members, with focus on the procurement of the department. The commitment were conveyed in Corruption-FreePledge Ceremony (IBR) held at the Tun Syed Nasir Art Gallery. 

The Director General of DBP, Dr. Hazami Jahari, called on scholars and employees of DBP to embrace the pledged IBR, practice integrity without fail and not compromise on corruption.

He also expressed his intention to continue anti-corruption strengthening programmes with DBP staff members,  especially to officers who are involved in procurement and financial management of the department.

Dr. Hazami led the IBR pledge along with 250 DBP personnel witnessed by the Deputy Director of MACC Community Education Division(Outreach), KPKPj Ab Muneim Ibrahim.
