Public Funds Anti-Corruption Programme and Corruption-Free Pledge Ceremony by representatives of the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), together with Selangor MACC

SHAH ALAM, 11 May - Selangor Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has held an Anti-Corruption Programme : Leakage and Misappropriation of Research Grant, in conjunction with Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) by representatives of the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), together with Selangor MACC.

Attended by 100 academic and non-academic staff from the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), at Dewan Berlian UiTM, the programme were also engaged by 352 participants online.

The programme kicked off with dialogue and briefing on offences and corruption prevention under the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009, with focus on leakages and misappropriation of university’s research grant. The briefing were conducted by Dep. Comm. Muhamad Firdaus bin Musa, Selangor MACC Head of Community Education Division.

The programme ended the Corruption Free Pledge led by YBrs. Prof. Ts. Dr. Norazah binti Abd Rahman, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation), and signing of the Declaration of Corruption-Free Pledge witnessed by YBhg. Dato' Haji Alias bin Salim, Selangor MACC Director.
