SHAH ALAM, 9 May - Selangor Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has held an Anti-Corruption Programme: Public Funds "Strengthening Anti-Corruption Practices in Financial Management" with representatives of welfare association registered with Registrar of Societies (ROS) Selangor. The programme was held in Main Meeting Room, Selangor MACC today.

With opening remarks given by YBhg. Dato’ Haji Alias bin Salim, Selangor MACC Director, representatives were then briefed about roles and functions of ROS by Selangor ROS Director, Nurul Azhar bin Husin.

The programme moved to second session with dialogue and briefing on offences under the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009 relating to Public Funds, by Dep. Comm. Azuan bin Adzhar, Selangor MACC Head of Inspection and Consultancy Division.

Attended by 60 Chairmen, Presidents and committees of registered welfare associations, the programme was ended with MACC’s campaign material handover to Selangor ROS Director.
