SPAN Head Towards Better Transparency and Zero Corruption through IBR Signing and MoU

PUTRAJAYA, 22 Aug  The National Water Services Commission (SPAN) expresses their commitment and full support to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) by signing and taking the Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) and the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Head of State, Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) today.

Dato' Ahmad Faizal Abdul Rahman, CEO of SPAN said that the IBR initiative is a catalyst towards increasing motivation and quality of service among the SPAN workforce in carrying out their duties, which will in turn benefit the organisation. The IBR and MoU reflect SPAN's commitment in ensuring their administration and operation are conducted with better transparency and free from corruption, misappropriation and abuse of power.

The IBR ceremony was led by Dato' Ahmad Faizal, CEO of SPAN and witnessed by Datuk Izani Wan Ishak, Director of the MACC Inspection & Consultancy Division. 150 members of SPAN's staff and management also took the pledge.
