SMK Bukit Mewah Seremban Curbs Corruption from the Roots in WAR Programme

SEREMBAN, 3 Aug – The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK), Prison Department Malaysia and the Health Department Malaysia together with Negeri Sembilan MACC have successfully organised the School-level Drug and Crime Prevention Education Week at SMK Bukit Mewah Seremban today.

The programme was officiated by Dr. Leong Mei Wei, Principal of SMK Bukit Mewah Seremban. 200 form 5 students participated in the Anti-Corruption Heroes (WAR) talk to raise awareness on the dangers and effects of corruption if not curbed from the beginning. The role of students as agents are vital in disseminating anti-corruption messages to shape a corruption-free environment.

Next, the students also visited the exhibitions to obtain more detailed information on corruption while answering quizzes and crossword puzzles on moral values. The appearance of Captain MACC added more fun to the event while mingling with programme participants.
