MACC and KUASA Bridge Gap with Orang Asli Community With Environmental Anti-Corruption Tour Programme With Orang Asli Community

TEMERLOH, 24 June – MACC together with the Persatuan Aktivis Sahabat Alam (KUASA) approaches the orang asli community by organising the Environmental Anti-Corruption Tour Programme with the Orang Asli community in Temerloh and Jerantut District, Pahang.

The three-day programme was based on the objective to deliver knowledge on corruption, in addition to educating the community against corruption.

Also held was a Walkabout programme and a Dialogue Programme with the Tok Batin and leaders from 10 villages involved.

This programme targeted 10 villages around Temerloh and Jerantut, from which 600 families gave their commitment to make the programme a success.

Also in attendance were TPj Datuk Razim Mohd Noor, Director of the MACC Community Education Division;  KPKPj Hairuzam Mohamad Amin @ Hamim, Director of Pahang MACC and serta Azmi Abdul Rahman, Forestry Officer for Temerloh/Bera District.
