MACC Perak Disseminates Anti-corruption Message through 600KM Mission

BATU GAJAH, 9 Nov - The Perak Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) held a Tourism Integrity Tour program for 3 days starting today. This program involves 80 participants in a motorcycle convoy covering almost 600 kilometers around the state of Perak.

YBhg. Dato Hj. Mohd Fauzi Hj. Mohamad, Director of Perak MACC, undertook this initiative to casually approach the community, specifically tourism operators to disseminate anti-corruption messages, in addition to bolstering the integrity of the tourism industry in this state.

The convoy departure ceremony was officiated by YB. Datuk Nolee Ashilin Mohammed Radzi, Chairman of the Perak Housing, Local Goverment and Residence Committee at the dredger heritage site at Tanjung Tualang Tin Dredge 5 (TT5).

Among the locations visited were Kellie Castle, Teluk Intan Leaning Tower, Masjid Al-Khairiah, Dataran Bagan Datuk, Ban Pechah, Taiping Zoo and the Lost World of Tambun in Ipoh.

Perak MACC hopes that this kind of program can strengthen the cooperation between the Perak State Government and the community in this state.
