IPOH, 12 Aug – MACC Perak has successfully organised the 'Semarak Integriti' Programme with all suppliers and contractors under Perak Corporation Berhad. The programme, which was arranged according to the new norms due to the Covid-19 pandemic, was held online with 35 participants. 

The purpose of this programme was to remind, enhance and provide understanding on corruption and Section 17A, which is a provision under MACC Act 2009 for commercial organisations. 

The programme began with opening remarks, followed by a talk on Corruption and Section 17A MACC Act 2009 delivered by Ps Hazirah Hussain, Head of the Community Education Unit, MACC Perak. 

This programme is hoped to strengthen MACC's cooperation with private companies in fighting corruption in this country.
