JOHOR BHARU, 11 Aug – An online discussion session between MACC Johor and Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP) regarding cooperation in organising an integrity and corruption-themed drawing and essay-writing competition was held this morning. 

The purpose of this discussion was to coordinate the tasks and roles of the agencies involved in order to make this programme a success, tentatively to be held in September 2021. 

The objective of this competition is to increase public knowledge on the dangers of corruption while educating the public to practise integrity in their everyday lives. In addition, DBP's function is to boost the use of the national language. This competition will be open to secondary school students and IPT students/public category. 

At the end of the discussion, MACC Johor stated their support and willingness to cooperate with DBP Southern Zone. It is hoped that this close cooperation will continue in the future where both parties can share ideas and contribute skills from respective fields in enhancing public support through corruption prevention programmes.
