KUALA LUMPUR 20 Apr. - Insurance and financial institutions should play their respective roles in making the public aware, especially the customers in their industry to avoid corrupt activities in the country.

The Deputy Chief Commissioner (Prevention) of the Malaysian Anti -Corruption Commission (MACC), Dato' Sri Shamshun Baharin Mohd Jamil said, close cooperation of all parties must be continued to achieve the mission, vision and goals that have been set.

I congratulate the leadership and the entire staff of Allianz Malaysia Berhad (Allianz Malaysia) for responding to the call of the government and the MACC in the fight against this crime," he said while delivering his speech at the #RasuahBusters Launching Ceremony with Allianz Malaysia and The Breaking Fast Ceremony here, yesterday.

He added that he greatly appreciates the commitment and concern by the Karangkraf Group in mobilizing the #RasuahBusters movement which is seen as a moral reform movement from the people for the people.

Also in attendance, the Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Malaysia, Zakri Khir and the Chairman of Board Directors, Datuk Hussamuddin Yaacub.
