SUNGAI SIPUT, 9 Apr – MACC, in cooperation with the Friends of Nature Activists Society (Persatuan Aktivis Sahabat Alam (KUASA)), took the initiative to approach Orang Asli in the Environment Integrity and Anti-corruption Tour Programme Series 1 at Kampung Kembok, Pos Piah, Sungai Siput (U), Perak.

The three-day programme involved four villages in Pos Piah, which are Kg Kembuk, Kg Piah, Kg Teras and Kg Gentes, and was officiated by Deputy Com. Datuk Razim Mohd Noor, Director of the MACC Community Education Division.

The programme included an information session on corruption offences and channels to report corruption, walkabout to meet the local communities and distribution of anti-corruption campaign materials, and approaching them in person to obtain information on issues and problems at their roots.

Also present during this programme were Chief SAC Ab. Muneim Ibrahim, Head of the Outreach Section; SAC Jaafar Tajuddin, Deputy Director (Prevention) of MACC Perak; Shazni Bhai, Chief Activist Coordinator; Tok Batin of Kg Kembuk, Kg Piah, Kg Teras and Kg Gentes, and MACC officers.
