Excellent Work Culture Increase Quality and Productivity of the MACC

Putrajaya, 31 March — The excellent and integrated work culture in the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) have been the foundation to improves quality and productivity of this commission as well as making MACC a top and high prestige agency.

The MACC Chief Commissioner, Datuk Seri Azam Baki said, the MACC success achievement today is the results of quality and excellent service by all MACC members in each levels.

"MACC staff must maintain and strengthen harmony without giving any space to differences in political beliefs, religious beliefs, racial diversity, statehood or trible culture that can threaten unity or espirit-de-corps.

"Besides that, the states and divisions directors should also play important roles in giving inspiration and guidance to the staffs and officers so that they will keep excellent in services," he said.

He said this while delivering a speech at the MACC Excellence Appreciation Awards Ceremony (MAAK) Year 2020 which took place at the MACC Headquarters here, today.

During the ceremony, a total of 126 officers and staff from MACC Headquarters received the Outstanding Service Award (APC) for the Year 2020.

Also celebrated at the same ceremony were two recipients of the Special Awards and 50 recipients of Chief Commissioner Special Awards (AKPJ) who successfully implemented high-impact and positive programs, activities and projects throughout 2020.

Meanwhile, Datuk Seri Azam also called out the MACC members to make the MACC Anti-Corruption Plan (PARAS) and the Code of Ethics and Conduct book as a guide to strengthen identity value to avoid getting caught up in the corruption crime and breaches of integrity.

Also present, the Deputy Chief Commissioner (Prevention), Dato' Sri Shamshun Baharin Mohd Jamil; Deputy Chief Commissioner (Operations), Dato' Sri Ahmad Khusairi Yahaya and the Deputy Chief Commissioner (Management and Professionalism), Dato' Junipah Wandi.
